We celebrated Thanksgiving one more time this week, even though some may have started the Christmas season this week.  Most of the songs we used this morning were a bit older, and well-known. I added one new song this morning, so I wanted to be sure the other songs were familiar, as well as focused on our theme of Thanksgiving this morning. We had a Baloche/Hillsong/Tommy Walker morning! It’s been a while since we’ve pulled out “Worthy Is the Lamb”, but what a powerful song, and it tied in so well with our Thanksgiving focus.  The new song was one from Tommy Walker’s Overflow CD, called “I Give Thanks”.  If you’re not familiar with it, check it out; it’s a great song for Thanksgiving with an easy to learn chorus and that familiar Tommy Walker sound. Zack led the team this morning in the Cafe, and following along the Thanksgiving theme, chose some great songs!  We had a little glitch with the Picture in Picture on our video feed today. I’ll have to take a look at that this week! You can see the Planning Center details for this service.

I led in here this morning, and it was great to pull out some of the hymns we sing just once a year for Thanksgiving.  We also had a drama sketch in all of our services this morning called “Thanksgiving Nic-Nacs”.  You can see the video of this service and see the Planning Center details.
