Contemporary Services
- “Here For You” (Matt Redman, Matt Maher, others)
- “All My Fountains” (Chris Tomlin, Christy Nockels, others)
- “Great I Am” (Jared Anderson)
- “Your Great Name” (Michael Neale, Krissy Nordhoff)
- “Follow You” (Leeland)
We used a couple of tunes from the last Passion CD with “Here For You” and “All My Fountains”. We did “Here For You” in Bb and “All My Fountains” in B. The loop from Praise Charts on “All My Fountains” really helped to hold things together. “Great I Am” is just such a powerful song! The worship choir, worship team singers, band and congregation all joined together in this powerful song of worship! We did The People’s Church version of “Your Great Name”, not Natalie Grant’s version. The harmonies add so much to the song! Zack did a super job on the lead for “Follow You” today by Leeland. You can watch the video for this service as well as see the Planning Center details.
Cafe Connection Service
- “Waiting Here For You” (Chris Tomlin, Jesse Reeves, Martin Smith)
- “At Your Name” (Tim Hughes and Phil Wickham)
- “Your Great Name” (Michael Neale and Krissy Nordhoff)
- “Taste and See” (Tommy Walker)
Marv led the team in the Cafe, and I loved the new songs he introduced! “Waiting Here For You” is also from the latest Passion project, with a nice solo (Christy Nockels on the recording). It’s makes for a great call to worship. The other new one was “Taste and See” from Tommy Walker’s latest project. This song works great in this acoustic setting in the Cafe – guitar, percussion and vocals are all you need for this song. You can see the Planning Center details for this service.
Traditional Service
- “Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing”
- “Glorify Thy Name”
- “At Calvary”
- “Freely, Freely”
- “I Gave My Life For Thee”
- “Make Me A Blessing”
This post is part of the the Sunday Setlist blog at The Worship Community, where worship leaders share setlists and recaps from worship services this weekend. Thanks for reading, and hope your services went great today!
Love starting worship off with “Here for You” – a powerful way to posture ourselves rightly before God.
We introduced “At Your Name” as well this week.
