We had a wonderful time of worship this morning at Bethel! The worship choir joined the worship team this morning, which is always a treat! We went back to Genesis today for a message from Pastor Tim about how the Lord makes a difference in our lives, based on the life of Joseph. We also started our 30 day trial with WorshipStream, a new site for hosting our live stream. Since June, we’ve been streaming our services via the LiveStream website. The free service has been fine, and the only complaint I have with is is the ads. Some are very inappropriate, and they happen too often. I noticed that WorshipStream was offering a free 30 day trial period to test out their service, so today was the first Sunday in that time. Since it’s a paid service, there are no ads. Everything worked well, although there have been a few glitches in the setup process.

We had the most number of people in our worship choir today so far, and you could really tell a difference! The worship team singers, band and tech crew did a great job, and it was a lot of fun this morning! “Overcome” has got to be one of my favorite worship anthems right now. The lyrics are so rich, and combined with the soaring music, it’s such a powerful worship song! You can see the Planning Center details for this service.

I wasn’t involved with this service today, but I was able to listen to their rehearsal, and they really sounded great! We added Jake today to the band on acoustic bass, which really helped to fill out the sound! You can see the Planning Center details for this service.
