Sunday Recap for Sunday, April 11, 2010

The week after Easter, and it was another great morning of worship.  Our team did a super job! Here are the songs we did this morning:

“Today Is the Day” (Lincoln Brewster, Paul Baloche)

“Everlasting God” (Brenton Brown) – Lincoln Brewster version
“You Alone Can Rescue” (Matt Redman) – Passion:Awakenings version

“Our God” (Chris Tomlin and others)
– We introduced this new song from Passion:Awakenings this morning, and it went really well! I received several comments about the song after the service. To be honest, I wasn’t sure if it would work too well, but I think we’ll keep it in the loop.  From the band’s perspective, there’s some interesting  dynamics to develop in this song. Also, with all the repeating eighth notes, it’s very easy to rush this one! This is one song where I can see playing to a click track would be helpful.

“You Never Let Go” (Matt Redman)

You can see the full Planning Center plan here.

You can read other recaps from around the country at The Worship Community’s Sunday Setlist.
